Financial Information

At Yorkville Toronto Dental Specialists we offer high quality specialty care at the most reasonable cost to our patients and do our best to inform you of any financial charges before your appointment.

Below you will find information about how we work with your dental insurance and our financing partner. If you don’t see your preferred method on our list, please call our office to find out what other options may be available to you.

Dental Insurance:

We will do everything possible to help you understand and make the most of your dental insurance benefits. As a courtesy, our office will complete and submit your insurance forms to help you achieve the maximum reimbursement to which you are entitled. Please bring your insurance information with you to the consultation so that we can expedite reimbursement.

As licensed dental specialists, our fees are approximately 20% above current year’s General Practitioner’s Ontario Dental Association Fee Guide. In some cases, depending on your insurance carrier’s payment policy and fee guide year upon which they operate, there may be discrepancies in our fees charged and those paid by your policy. We urge you to read your insurance policy so that you are fully aware of coverage and any limitations of the benefits provided. Please remember you are ultimately responsible for all expenses incurred.

Please note: Payment is due at the time of service.

Yorkville Toronto Dental Specialists does not accept payment from your insurance company.

Payment options:

  • Visa
  • MasterCard
  • American Express
  • Interac Debit
  • Cash
  • Certified Cheque or Money Order (no personal cheques)

Deposits & Payment Installments:

Our office may request a monetary deposit for treatment that involves a third party (laboratory, milling centre etc). Since dental prostheses, appliances and surgical guides are customized and made specifically for you, items can’t be returned and payments for such are non-refundable.

For extensive prosthodontic treatment, a payment of 25% to 50%  of the total treatment is required upon the commencement. Patients are invited to make suitable payments throughout the duration of their treatment. Final payment is due in full, upon treatment phase completion (e.g.  delivery of bleaching trays & material, cementation of crown and bridgework, insertion of denture).

Financing options:

At Yorkville Toronto Dental Specialists we understand that the cost of dental treatment can be a major deterrent from seeking help. This is one of the reasons our office has partnered with Dentalcard. Dentalcard offers a simple and affordable way to finance your procedure or service and allows you to immediately acquire the care you desire.
